After being on sale for only a few weeks, IVECO Dealers are reporting strong interest in the new work-ready, Limited Edition 45C17 Daily, especially from Tradies.
Limited to 100 examples, the passenger car licence Limited Edition Daily is value-packed, featuring a heavy-duty, Australian-made aluminium tray body, tow bar package, nudge bar, bonnet protector and floor mats.
As an added bonus, Limited Edition Daily models are backed by a comprehensive 5-year/200,000km extended warranty and come with 5 years’ free scheduled servicing, while a complimentary 36-piece GearWrench socket set to the value of $349 (including GST) is also included.
The locally-built tray body features generous internal dimensions of 4,050mm in length x 2,05mm in width, with removable drop sides and tailgate courtesy of quick-lock hinges, to make the most of the 45C17’s 4,495kg GVM.
Other benefits of the tray include a window protector and tube headboard, internal load restraint points, front corner step and sturdy rope/strap rails.
Buyers who would like to further tailor the tray to better-suit their application can choose from a range of additional accessories at extra cost, these include ladder racks, a variety of toolbox options and even a soap and water dispenser.
As well as delivering the convenience of a work-ready vehicle and the value-added elements, the cab chassis itself is extremely well specified and includes IVECO’s powerful yet efficient 3.0-litre turbodiesel engine, producing 170hp and 430Nm, as well as the market-leading Hi-Matic 8-speed full automatic transmission.
The Daily also fares considerably better on the safety front than its competitors.
Fitted as standard are driver, passenger and dual curtain airbags, front and rear disc brakes with ABS, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Electronic Stability Program, Anti Slip Regulator, Hill Holder and Daytime Running Lamps.
Driver appointments are also plentiful. The driver is treated to an ISRI air suspension seat with arm rest, while the two front seat passengers receive a body contoured bench seat with headrests.
Further aiding the driving experience is automatic climate control, cruise control and the IVECONNECT multimedia system with GPS that can be operated through steering wheel-mounted controls. For additional cost, IVECONNECT can also be equipped with a reversing camera with camera positioning decided by the customer to best suit the application. If a camera is not required, a reversing buzzer is standard fitment.
IVECO Australia Marketing Manager, Darren Swenson, said the Limited Edition Daily is ideal for Tradies requiring a larger payload than a utility or dual cab 4×4, while still remaining within the passenger car licence category.
“For a comparable price to a dual cab 4×4, the Limited Edition Daily can also be driven on a car licence and provides the same car-like driving experience, safety features and convenience while also delivering a far superior payload thanks to a 4,495kg GVM,” Mr Swenson said.
“The Daily is a logical upgrade from a ute and ideal for growing businesses that need the extra space and carrying capacity for bigger jobs.”
“And with a towbar package and 3.5 tonne braked towing capacity, there’s even greater versatility and scope to transport all the tools of the trade, plus materials.
“Making an investment in the Limited Edition Daily even more enticing and virtually risk-free is a comprehensive 5-year/200,000kM extended factory warranty at no extra cost, as well as 5 year’s free scheduled servicing,” he said.
The new Limited Edition Daily is available while stocks last from IVECO Dealers nation-wide for a Recommended Retail Price of $57,950 (including GST but excluding vehicle on-road costs).
